Regina, Canada. "Little Poems", the new 7" from expansive rock collective Rah Rah, is available since, Tuesday, June 12, via Hidden Pony Records. In promotion of the release of "Little Poems", the band had also put out the b-side track from the 7" single "Little Poems", titled "I Could Tell You I'm Sorry", which is also available for download on their website.

"Little Poems" gives fans a taste of Rah Rah's refined sound, and has been released in preparation for their upcoming full-length album "The Poet's Dead", which will be available September 25th digitally, and October 23rd physically.

For their upcoming LP "The Poet's Dead", Rah Rah have truly fine-tuned the essence of the band and refined the maturity of their sound. If Arcade Fire is musically informed by Springsteen, Rah Rah draws a musical footnote from Neil Young while weaving an endlessly impressive amount of contemplation and maturity into their heart-ontheir-sleeve songs. Lyrically, "The Poet's Dead" showcases some of the finest songwriting from the band and the strongest collective step forward to date.

Bear Mountain's electro/dance style blends syncopated bass lines and arpeggiated synth chords with live instrumentation and soaring vocals to produce a style all their own. Their approach to the traditional   indie-pop genre is unmistakably fresh, and powerfully captivating.

[MP3] Naked Feen - Noticed You Before

Munich, Germany. Matthias (vocal, guitar), Ralph (guitar), Volker (bass), and Markus (drums) formed their indie pop formation NAKED FEEN in 2010. Their style could be described classic indie pop preciousness with visionary melodies, linear songwriting, and brilliant moments. Although the name Naked Feen gives you the impression of music and lyrics away of the reality, is there still a connection to daily grind moments.

The four Bavarian boys are addicted to be on stage and to play in front of a crowd. Thus, they did already a couple of great gigs in television (ON3 Südwild), radio (ego.fm - there you can listen to the live cut), and of course normal live gigs (e.g. Wohnheimtour 2011/2012 - Halls Tour 2011/2012).

If you missed these talented guys, you have still the chance to attend their gigs. Next concerts will be at Free & Easy at Backstage on 2nd August or at Cord on 9th August.

Kortrijk, Belgium / London, England. Zucchini Drive, comprised of Marcus Graap and Tom De Geeter, has a knack for cooking up surprising music from unlikely ingredients. From their initial beginnings in 2002, the pair tackled the challenge  of melding the lo-fi acoustic sounds of De Geeter and the buoyant electronic landscapes of Graap. The Duo has taken their contrasting backgrounds and geographical distances to create an unparalleled energy.

Working in remote locations Zucchini Drive has put together their latest project "No Food But Lots Of Weapons". Completely self-produced, this album is a combination of where the duo stands as artists and their take on a 2012 world.

Their first single, "Jaguar Sky", brings a set of strong vocals and a building energy to make for a great example of the Zucchini Drive's capabilities. This single is now accompanied by a music video that depicts the members performing against a city backdrop. The album, "No Food But Lots Of Weapons", will be available on September 25, 2012 via Marathon of Dope.

Charlottetown, Canada. Canadian quartet The Danks' debut full-length album Are You Afraid of The Danks is available in the U.S. today, via Hidden Pony Records.

Driven by small-town boredom and a severe distaste for contemporary pop, Are You Afraid of The Danks delivers a fistful of excitement with the follow-through of a wrecking ball in a Beverly Hills mansion.

The Danks are led by members Brohan Moore and Alec O’Hanley on guitars and vocals, and supported by Brian Murphy on bass and Adam Hindle on drums. The anti-workaday quartet have engaged in national tours with Hey Rosetta! and Two Hours Traffic, caused widespread wowing of festival patrons at both Pop Montreal and North by Northeast, and have graced Tokyo Police Club and Ted Leo with their blistering onstage presence. With cowboy capitalists sitting high on the Canadian bacon and the Buzzcocks approaching senior citizenry, The Danks propose an alternative economy, one that deals strictly in the currency of cool.

The group is currently in the studio recording their sophomore album with producer Jeff McMurrich (Fucked UP, Constantines, Owen Pallett).

Toronto, Canada. The Canadian soul-rock duo features Kevin McKeown on guitar/lead vocals and Eric Owen on drums, who have been friends since kindergarten and began playing music together when they discovered a shared passion for rock and roll music in high school. The two relocated to Austin in 2009 and Black Pistol Fire was born.

While playing a local Austin hotspot, producer Jim Diamond (The White Stripes, The Von Bondies, Jon Spencer Blues Explosion) approached the band about recording together. Their LP, simply titled "Black Pistol Fire", was released in February 2011 in select record stores in North America, at live shows, and worldwide through iTunes. The LP garnered a positive critical response from publications such as the Austin Chronicle, Pop Music Matters, and the Houston Press.

The new album "Shut Up!" (released May 2012) is Black Pistol Fire's modern and fun blues-rock spin on Little Richard's signature soul sound.

Los Angeles, CA, USA. Four American girls making music together and calling themselves WARPAINT. Emily Kokal and Theresa Wayman playing at the guitar, while Jenny Lee Lindberg is playing at the bass and Stella Mozgawa at the drums. The group was founded in 2007. John Frusciante - member of Red Hot Chili Peppers - produced the first single "Exquisite Corpse" of WARPAINT. In 2010, they released their debut album "The Fool". The style of the ladies could be described as melodic post-punk with hypnotic voices and entangled guitars.
